Rainbow Thoughts

This is an art piece which I have created on my smart tablet using the Sketchbook App. The reasoning to why I wanted to do a piece like this one was to improve on my digital skills and develop a particular art style that makes me stand out amongst the crowd.

As seen in my "Tissue Paper Portrait" work, I used a setting called "Posterize". This setting breaks down the different colour tones on a photo. I wanted to challenge myself here so what I decided on was to make the photo I was studying seem to of used that editing tool, however all I did was a simple overlay on my work.

Doing this art piece has allowed me to develop an unique artstyle, not many people use a technique like this in their work, and when they do, it's on an abstract piece rather than a realistic piece, which is what I intend to use. Overall this is another art piece I am very happy with the outcome of this art piece and look forward to explore new ways to develop my artstyle.
